Maddalena is a feminist and queer activist who graduated in the International Track in Medicine at Maastricht University, in The Netherlands. She has a special interested in gynaecology and obstetrics and decided to take Global Health as her second master. Her path brought her to the birth rooms of Ecuador, Italy and The Netherlands where she has worked with Indigenous peoples and different social minorities. Furthermore, she has been founder and event coordinator of LadyFest Maastricht since its first edition in 2016. She has also been the main promoter and researcher of the crowd-funding campaign Into the world: make birth beautiful and safe. She has collaborated with countless feminist organizations such as Planned Parenthood in Strasbourg, The F word Fest in Amsterdam and Hacker Porn Film Festival in Rome. Her self-gynaecology workshops have been empowering people all over Europe. Her favourite colour is Red.
Valentine aka Fluida Wolf is a trashy-drag-bitch, transfeminist writer, postporn activist, militant translator and sex-positive educator. Her main interventions concern non-normative bodies and sexualities, post-pornography, sex working, BDSM, queer relationships, eco-sexuality and the intersectionality of struggles. Fluida’s work combines her two great passions, feminist activism and translations. She strongly believes in the potential of the body as an instrument of knowledge, personal growth and empowerment and as a collective political weapon. She has collaborated with publishing houses and other militant translators in order to bring to Italy fundamental texts born within the anarcho-punk-queer-postporn milieu, such as Fica Potens (‘Cunt Power’) by Diana J. Torres aka Pornoterrorista, Devenir Perra (‘Becoming Bitch’) by Basque transfeminist activist Itziar Ziga’s -the book-manifesto which inspired her dissertation on the concept of ‘Militant Translations’- and The Ultimate Guide to Anal Sex for Women by Tristan Taormino. She is the creator of the project ‘Anal Liberation Front’, as part of which she toured around Italy a workshop on the introduction to anal pleasure. The project is still ongoing and will soon see the release of her translation of Bill Brent’s The Ultimate Guide to Anal Sex for Men. Fluida has been a member of the jury for short films in the Hacker Porn Film Festival in Rome. She has also taken part in movies and online series as Female Touch by Morgana Mayer and La prima volta by Vice Italy. She is currently participating in Julia Ostertag’s new film project Female Ejaculation and other Mysteries of the World.
Her first book "Postporno" is been published at the end of February.
Leonie van der Kinderen is a drama therapist, coach and mental health specialist since 2007. She is passionate about relationships, consent and creating spaces where people can move freely and explore their many possibilities in expression and interaction. She has been running a centre for the Arts Therapies in Maastricht offering both individual therapy and courses for groups. Her work focuses on human growth, personal development and strengthening interpersonal connections. She has been collaborating with local partners, including Trajekt, Maastricht University and Hogeschool Zuid. She has been facilitating consent workshops with Consent Matters since 2017. As a therapist, she uses a wide range of creative methods to facilitate her workshops using exercises from diverse art forms and psychological frameworks such as acting, poetry and dance.
Annabelle Schapals is a certified Hatha and Vinyasa Yoga teacher with a vivid interest in embodiment, nutrition, and overall wellbeing. After living in Germany and Switzerland, she moved to the Netherlands to study Liberal Arts and Sciences at Maastricht University. In her academic career she focussed on Sociology and Philosophy investigating topics related to the body, its role for individual identity as well as its place in society. Based on her critical perspective on the way the body is conceptualized and objectified in contemporary culture, Annabelle's work aims at exploring new ways of enhancing a positive and loving relationship with one´s body. To her, Yoga is a central practice that supports her in fostering a caring relationship with the body while promoting the overall wellbeing. Her interest in holistic health is also reflected in her passion for vegan cooking and nutrition. She has an extensive background in community design and strenghtening through years of activism in cultural free spaces.
